ANTHRAX Singer's CHIEF BIG WAY To Return To Sherrill This July
January 13, 2011According to The Oneida Daily Dispatch, ANTHRAX singer Joey Belladonna and his Syracuse, New York-based power trio CHIEF BIG WAY will hit to the Reilly-Mumford Memorial Park stage in Sherrill, New York this summer. The band is scheduled to return to the Gorman Foundation-sponsored Sherrill Summer Concert Series for the city's annual Fireworks Extravaganza show July 30 at 7:30 p.m.
CHIEF BIG WAY, also featuring lead guitarist Matt Sanderson and bassist Dave Mickelson, started three years ago to give the group a chance to play the songs they enjoy — offering covers of classic-rock tunes by JOURNEY, BAD COMPANY, PINK FLOYD, and LYNYRD SKYNYRD to more contemporary fare by CREED and ALICE IN CHAINS.
"This is all about playing the songs," Belladonna told The Oneida Daily Dispatch in a 2010 interview. "There's no smoke, no confetti and no frills. It's just fun and entertaining."
The concert is free and open to the public.
